Lance
Lance was a 12-year old Wheaten who found himself homeless in March 2003 when his elderly owner sold her house. A kind social worker fostered him, then contacted WIN to see if a good home could be found. He was adopted by a local WIN member, who proceeded to spoil him endlessly. Lance thrived on a timely dinner, a warm bed, and a soft voice. He didn’t ask for anything more, but he did know how to do a “high-five” when the dinner bowl was set down. He was a sweet and quirky “little old man” who quickly became the favorite dog in the extended family.
